The Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management has announced that the portion of Middletown Road between the Smallwood Drive West intersection and the Billingsley Road intersection will remain closed to through traffic until on or about Jan. 29.
Signs will remain posted notifying the public of the closure and existing detour routes.
The closure may be extended further if weather or other conditions create construction delays.
